The time management workshop was a great way to spend the afternoon, but once it got dark, a social seemed in order. Several of SAM’s members were able to come out, as well as members from some of the other student business organizations on campus including the Financial Management Association (FMA) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
The evening was a fun time, including some vigorous games of cross-departmental pool (to be honest, I think SHRM ended up taking the final victory – we need some SAM pool sharks!), some good eats and drinks, and of course lots of networking and casual conversation. As usual, the diversity of San Jose State’s student body is apparent, as well as the great attitudes of everyone involved in the business department.
If you were there, please post up your comments and let us know what you thought of the event! Also, our next social is coming up towards the end of March – take a look at our Events Calendar to see if you can make it out. Even if you’re not a member, swing by, have some pizza, enjoy some conversation, and learn about how SAM might be right for you.
