About SAM

The Society for the Advancement of Management is one of the oldest student organizations on SJSU’s campus. We have a long history of helping develop the future leaders of all types of organizations - large and small, for-profit or non-profit. We provide numerous face-to-face events on campus every semester, including speaker sessions, recruitment opportunities, skill-building workshops, and of course student socials.

SAM membership is not limited just to the Management department at the College of Business. Anyone can join, and it proves to your future employers that you’re interested in the fast-track to management within your career path. Whether you’re looking to make new friends, learn new skills, or expand your experience beyond the classroom, SAM is the right organization for you.
