On Tuesday, SJSU Career Center will be holding another fair. This fair will be a little smaller than the last one and will focus mostly for summer. There will be representatives from all sorts of companies looking for students to intern over the summer. The fair will be held in the Student Union Ball Room from 12-3pm on Tuesday, April 12, 2011.
“Currently registered SJSU students and Career Center alumni members are invited to meet in-person with employers recruiting for their career and internship positions. Open to all majors. Dress is professional and preparation is important, attend a Job Fair Success Workshop to increase your marketability! Be sure to check SpartaJobs toward the end of March for a detailed list of attending employers.” – SJSU Career Center
The following day, we will be having our Alumni Panel. Several alumni’s which have graduated last year, will be returning to give students some advice and speak about their experiences after graduation. All the almuni’s are now working at big companies such as Cisco, Polycom and Juniper Networks. This is a great opportunity to come and ask any kind of career questions you may have or to build your network! Alumni’s will also be there to talk one-to-one for more personal questions and advices.
On Friday, one of the biggest social event is scheduled. A major collaboration with all the business associations and major companies from Google, HP, Apple, Intel and Intuit will be at the event. We strongly encourage members to come. This is a great opportunity to get connections from major companies and meet other business students. Students must dress business casual. Appetizers will be provided. SAM has paid all fees, so this will be a FREE event for members.

LBSA (Latino Business Student Association) has invited SAM out to their semesterly Salsa Night Fundraiser Social event!
Don’t know how to salsa? Dont worry! We’re going to teach you! The salsa night will take place at Azucar! Latin Bistro & Mojito Bar in Downtown San Jose. The event starts at 8PM and as usual, directions are provided below. All members are encouraged to come out and have fun and learn a new skill!
