SAM: General Meeting

Hi Sam Members,
We will be having our first general meeting coming up next week. We will be discussing what exciting, new things SAM has available to offer this semester; such as guest speakers, workshops and fun events. Anybody is welcome to come to the meeting. There will be FREE food and drinks. We will also be having a RAFFLE! Come, listen, ask questions, or just socialize.

Welcome back to school. Spring 2011 has already begun and I hope everybody got the classes they wanted.
SAM will be outside of BBC this week like always along with all the other business organizations. We would like you to encourage you to come by our table this week just to say hi and learn a little more about SAM. If you are already a registered and paid member, please come by to pick up your free t-shirts, canteens and pens.
For those were registered, paid members last semester (Fall 2010), we are offering you a free membership this semester! Your shirts will also be available for pickup this week at the tables.

Hi Sam Members,
Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving Break! Unfortunately, we are all back in school today with this freakishly cold weather. I just wanted to let everybody know about an upcoming event that LBSA is hosting, Personal Branding: Authentic Leadership. We have collaborated with LBSA to allow SAM members to join the event. It is required that everybody register for the event. Spaces are limited, so sign up soon! The event is this coming Wednesday, December 1st from 5-6:30.
LBSA writes: “The theme will be focused on Authentic Leadership, featuring Sheryl Grant, motivational speaker with experience of over 20 years in Fortune 500 companies such as HP and dell. As many may know, SAM has been quite quiet this semester as far as meetings go. There has been so many issues and time constraints which came up. However, we are having an Alumni Panel/General Meeting this coming week.
